I require a 2 HOUR Session minimum for booking.  I put my time & care into every session.  Most pieces take about this amount of time to complete.  In cases where you want something simple, think about getting more than one during your session to fill your time!

  • Additional time can be added for larger sessions/multiple designs if needed.


I now book in the following time blocks.  

  • 2 Hours. .. studio minimum
  • 4 Hours (Half-Day) .. minimum for 2-person bookings
  • 6 Hours (Full-Day)


Additional time can be added after the 2 HOUR minimum.  Priced at $100 per hour.


Design previews will no longer be sent via email.  Final touches can be made in-person during your session.


Do note major changes to your design may require rescheduling.  In this case your deposit will be forfeited.


Studio Policies

Take a moment to review the Policies I have in place for the studio.

Must be 18+ with valid ID.  No exceptions to parental signatures will be granted.


A $50 (minimum) non-refundable deposit must be completed within 24-hours of making your reservation.

  • Applies to cost of session.
  • Can be transferred for 1 reschedule with more than 48-hour notice.
  • A card must be saved for future use when booking.

Events

More information on Pop-Up/Small Group Events

Looking for the perfect night out/afternoon activity with friends or loved ones?  EffortLyss Ink can now accommodate small groups of 3-5 people!  The more participants the better the deal.  Costs are split evenly amongst the group.


1. Each Participant must submit an Individual Inquiry Form.

  • Include the First & Last name(s) of your session partner(s)

2. Make date+time selection upon my reaching out with availability.

  • This will be done via your preferred contact method 

3. Complete individual deposits within 24-hours of receiving confirmation.  This step secures your session.


Pop-up Events bring EffortLyss Ink to you. Each booking includes setup, all supplies, and personalized Event Flash Sheet. A deposit and advance scheduling are required—spots are limited, so secure your event early!


Please book at least 30 days in advance.


1. Submit an Event Inquiry Form.

  • If available, a phone meeting will be scheduled to discuss details of your event.
  • Be sure to include references for your Flash Sheet.


— A $200 non-refundable travel fee secures your date and covers travel (due within 24 hours of approval). 

— Event flash sheets (8–10 simple designs, <2”) are priced per tattoo upon approval.

Preparation, After-Care & More!

  • Consent Form: Complete before arrival (included within emails/texts after booking, REQUIRED FORM)
  • Hydrate & Prep Skin: Moisturize for a week prior; skip on session day; shave 24–48 hrs before if needed
  • Rest & Eat: Sleep well; eat 1–2 hrs before; bring snacks/water for long sessions
  • Clothing: Loose, dark clothing for comfort and to avoid ink stains
  • Relax: Headphones or comfort items encouraged
  • ID & Safety: Bring valid ID; avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners 24 hrs prior; arrive on time


1 FREE Retouch is included with every session at EffortLyss Ink.  Simply submit my Inquiry Form with current, well-lit photos of your tattoo.  I will soon be in response with availability via your preferred contact method.


  • Keep Wrapped: Sani-Derm 3–5 days (minimum 24 hrs)
  • Remove Bandage: Warm water in the shower; gently roll edges
  • Rewrap: Clean, dry, apply ointment, press firmly (tweezers help!)
  • Heal Properly: Wash 2× daily, moisturize for 14 days
    • Apply thin layer of ointment every 2 hours for best results
  • Avoid: Scratching/picking, UV exposure (4 weeks), soaking (14 days), excess sweat, unsanitary surfaces, over-moisturizing
